Maurten’s “OG” Gels have been a part of my training and racing routine for almost 3 years now. They deliver nutrition I need without causing gut issues before/during my runs.
The flavor profile is similar to sugar water, and the texture to that of jello.

Works great and lack of flavor is really helpful when running marathons - goes down easy even when mouth is dry. Easy to store on long runs and easy to open. Makes in race fueling so easy.
Pretty good Gel but I feel PF 30 Gel is better and cheaper. very quick shipment. Thumbs up fuelgoods !!
Maruten really is as good as they say it is, just have to time it right to be effective.
New to gels but this one was not my fave. The consistency is that of a Jell-O shot. I find I like more liquid and smooth gels and this one I almost had to chew. Flavor was meh.

I was new to this gel, but it was my go to fuel for my last marathon and I won’t ever look back! It is fast acting and helped me through the LA marathon. 10/10 recommend.

One of the best gels I have found yet. a sweet tasting gel that goes down with or without water (easily). No stomach pains and digests easy while fueling steadily. A great option.
Maurten is my go to. Very easy on the stomach and the flavor is not too overpowering, which is a huge factor. I use them for marathons/training and flavor is very important when you are on gel #7 and nothing sounds remotely appealing anymore. I don't love the texture, but it's not the worst. I usually alternate Maurten caffeine gels with Huma (extra electrolytes) - one has caffeine and easy on the stomach, the other one is tastier and has sodium. I feel like they compliment each other nicely.
Maurten is a true game changer! Really happy to be fueled by Fuel Goods! Sure is great having a nutrition company I can count on to get the things I need to for a successful training/racing plan!
I know these are popular so tried one out - honestly the texture was very off-putting and I didn't love the flavor either. No issues with it, it did what it was supposed to but the flavor/texture combo was not for me. Would use again if this was what was available and I needed a gel, but wouldn't seek it out.
Love Maurten gels! There are no GI issues for me with this gel so it is a staple in my long runs.
I've become a Maurten convert from Gu. The packing is better (smaller, smoother) and the gel is easier to consume. More expensive, but worth it imo.
